On 23 June 2026 our site hosted a unique technical event. The front-yard of B-170 – Polyol plant building served as a parking lot for VEGATRUCK, an impressive mobile showroom of the VEGA company, which travels across Europe every year to showcase the latest solutions in measurement technology.

Advanced measurement and detection tech in 17 m-long truck space
VEGATRUCK is a powerful vehicle with a weight of 38 tons and a length of 17 meters, which offers more than 60 sqm of well-equipped training space when expanded. With a mobile laboratory showpiece, our employees learned about the technologies of tomorrow without having to leave the premises.

Hands-on knowledge and live tests
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., invited employees of the technology, maintenance and CAPEX departments took the opportunity to attend demo shows and training sessions. On-board the showroom they could test:

• Interactive demo models to simulate measuring operations in real-world conditions.
• A wide range of sensors for level and pressure measurement.
• Multimedia zone for testing device configurations and network options.
• Operation of the sensors via smartphone or tablet, in line with the industrial digitalization and automation trends.

Expert support over good coffee
The visit was not only an opportunity to learn, but also for productive discussions with VEGA experts. In a relaxed atmosphere, over a cup of good coffee, our specialists could consult on specific measurement applications used in LERG processes and get support in seeking the best solutions to optimize our production processes.

With the condensed knowledge and the possibility to test the devices live, the training was extremely effective. The VEGATRUCK visit showed how advanced technology can support the daily work and development of the technical infrastructure of our site.
