Women’s role in the development of the Polish economy is key today. Their growing presence on executive boards, in managerial positions and among business owners is a clear sign that diversity, innovation and a new style of leadership are what business needs these days. In defiance of the continuing challenges in equal career opportunities, women in Poland showcase their increasing confidence to set directions for change and inspire future generations of female leaders.

Agnieszka Kozubek-Bespalenko, Vice-President and CEO of LERG S.A., is among those awarded distinctions in this year’s “Pearls of Polish Business” Report by Gazeta Finansowa weekly magazine. The award pays a tribute to her years-long work, determination and vision, which have provided a driving force behind the growth of one of the leading chemical groups in Poland.

Strong background and managerial expertise

Agnieszka Kozubek-Bespalenko graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Krakow University of Economics. She also earned a certificate in The Advanced Certificate in Marketing program under the auspices of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and a diploma of the Strategic Leadership Academy organized by Harvard Business Review.

Agnieszka is a manager with extensive experience in managing manufacturing companies and building strategic business growth. For years, she has been with the LERG Group, where she now holds key roles and positions, setting the directions and speed of the Group’s expansion.

A leader at work, a woman guided by passion in private life

Agnieszka Kozubek-Bespalenko’s professional career goes in balance with her private roles as a wife and mother of two children. Motorcycles are the passion for her, with a Harley Davidson expedition across the United States ranking high among her numerous journeys.
