On Friday, September 5, fishing enthusiasts from LERG S.A. and Sarzyna Chemical sp. z o.o. met for the fifth time to compete for the podium and valuable prizes. A total of 38 employees attended, hoping, as always, for the largest catch (by weight) in the picturesque natural surroundings of the Nowa Sarzyna ponds.

The rules of the competition remained traditionally unchanged, allowing for still fishing in the bottom-float method, using two rods. The initial foggy and cool air quickly gave way to full sun and heat, providing perfect conditions for fishing.

As every year, the sportfishing rivalry was an opportunity to meet and integrate between the teams of both companies in a great friendly atmosphere. The competition was crowned with the fish weighing ceremony, handing over commemorative diplomas and prizes, followed by a barbecue party.

The best angler title of this year’s edition went to Andrzej Ligęzka from Lerg – his catch weighed a total of 14.43 kg!
Mariusz Paszek from Sarzyna Chemical came second, while Krzysztof Puzon from Lerg took third place to complete the podium.
