On 25 April 2025, the Environmental Education Centre in Stobierna hosted yet another edition of entomological workshop for kids under the auspices of Lerg’s Environmental Program.

The event gathered grade 2 and 3 pupils from the primary school in Pustków-Osiedle.

Also this time the workshop was facilitated by Mr. Andrzej Trzeciak, a forester, enthusiast and expert in the study of insects, whose vivid delivery of knowledge was welcomed as truly accessible by the young explorers. Students really embraced the opportunity to learn fascinating facts on insect life, take a close look at a variety of entomological specimens and understand the significance of insects in our ecosystem.

As was the case with the first edition, the main goal of the workshop was to nurture wise human-nature coexistence attitudes, raise environmental awareness and grow a sense of responsibility for the natural environment. We are committed to enabling the youngest generation to develop respect and caring attitude towards the world of plants and animals and a sense of concern for the future of our Planet.
